New York on Film: A Thousand and One
The Museum of the City of New York presents a screening of "A Thousand and One," which follows single mother Inez, who is moving from shelter to shelter in mid-1990s New York City. It's a poignant story about a mother and son attempting to survive in an increasingly gentrified Harlem. After the film, there will be a Q&A with director A.V. Rockwell moderated by film programmer Jessica Green.
